Features
Everything you do in Finder, and more.
Your Finder favorites, tags, Quick Look and shortcuts work the way you expect. The extras are there when you need them.
Dual pane
Two folders side by side. Copy or move the selection to the other pane in one step.
Folder compare
See what differs between two folders and sync only the rows you choose.
Backups
Versioned snapshots or a single mirror on another disk, every hour, day or week.
Tabs and favorites
Tabs, your Finder sidebar favorites, Recents, tags and Quick Look, as you know them.
Network and disks
Connect to file servers, eject disks and browse network volumes from the sidebar.
Made for power users
Go to Folder, Copy Path, Open in Terminal, and Zinder as your default file viewer.
Folder compare and sync
Know exactly what will change.
Both folders sit side by side as one tree. Anything that’s only on one side leaves a gap on the other, so differences jump out.
- An arrow on every row. Copy right, copy left, delete or skip — click to change just that row.
- Sync only what you pick. Select rows or a folder and only those are synced.
- Safe by default. A summary before anything happens, and deletions go to the Trash.
Backups
Your folders, safe on another disk.
Pick a folder and a destination, choose how often, and Zinder keeps it backed up in the background.
- Versioned snapshots. Each run is a full, browsable copy. Unchanged files are shared between versions, so they take no extra space.
- Or a simple mirror. One copy that always matches the source.
- Works with any disk. APFS, Mac OS Extended and exFAT drives.
